Woops! Just read your profile and seen that you live in Scotland...I'm English - I still can't believe the service is so bad in the UK (I live in Italy) - although alot of my UK friends commented about the fantastic service I was getting when I was  pg/gave birth to my first (4 year old girl)...

my due date is 14th April. do you live in the States? It seems crazy that your GYN or whoever doesn't want to give you an u/s until you're almost 15 weeks pg - I can't believe it!! I will have had 3 by the time I go for my first 'official' u/s in less than 3 weeks' time (when they measure the foetus for any Downs' Syndome risk etc). Can you not even go to a hospital and have a routine u/s just to put your mind at rest (even if it means faking pains or something)?...

Hi there Tracy...I'm just behind you - 8 weeks exactly today. I've had 2 U/Ss already...saw the heartbeat in the second one. I wouldn't worry about not having really strong PG symptoms - I haven't had any nausea at ALL, only very sore boobs and nipples up until last week (and they are so BIG!...DH very happy although they are OFF LIMITS  as they're so sensitive!!!). Apart from that...NOTHING. So, just try and relax (you have had sore boobs and sikness anyway which ARE symptoms, even if  they've only been weak)...another 6 weeks is such a long time to wait though...but hang in there! I guess your due date must be around April 20?
Take care - keep me posted!
