Fundal height measuring wrong

Ok so I have a question. I went to the dr yesterday for my 37 week appointment and she measured me and I was measuring 35 weeks. How is that possible? Last week I measured right on. My first baby was 10lbs 1oz. So I highly doubt its because of a small baby. But who knows she could be small, I go for an u/s in two weeks to guess the weight.

The baby has probably dropped - once they drop down low in your pelvis, the fundal height will decrease.

It could be the position of your baby throwing off the measurement. Two weeks behind or ahead is normal.
