BIG Baby Boy

So my normal doc is out for the week, I had one of his associates at my weekly appointment yesterday. He measured my belly and said I was measuring 35 Weeks I'll be 38 weeks on Friday. He then noticed that I've not gained much weight. So he sent me to get an ultrasound. I had the ultrasound today, and the first thing the tech said, "whoa, big baby". Apparently he already measures 40 weeks and weighs 8lbs 13oz. She stepped out to speak with one of the docs and when she came back she said, "Well, the doc told me to either tell you 'Congratulations', or say 'I'm sorry' depending on how you feel. And she highly recommends I get an epidural. (Was hoping for a natural birth)

All those can be off.  However I have had a 7# 12 oz baby, 8# 11 oz baby, 10# 2 oz baby and a 9 # baby.  And this one is looking to be in the 9 # baby.  All natural and in fact the last two were born very fast.  Ask your Dr what he thinks of your hip size from an internal examination.

I hope I don't need a c-section. Only get 6weeks maternity leave at a job that requires a lot of movement and pushing heavy carts :/.
But yes, I was amoung the clouds when the tech told me he was healthy. That's all that matters.

My daughter was 11 pounds. Sooooo glad I had a c section. But she lost all her baby fat in the first year. :)
But now my doctor says this one is probably going to be bigger. :(
But hey, as long as their healthy. Right?! :)
