Due date

So This isn't a question, merely just a thought I wanted to share with everyone. So my due date is April 14th but I'm really hoping that I have my beautiful little girl on the 13th.

My dad passed away in July of 2013 and it's been really hard for me. He was only 49. But his favourite number was 13. Therefore it would be amazing to have my daughter (his first grandchild that he will never get to hold) on the 13th of April.

Makes me emotional just thinking about it and hoping that that is when she decides to make her arrival.

Awww sweetie. So sorry for your loss. I hope that happens for you but no matter what he will be looking over and protecting her all the time :). He would be proud x

Thank you nl92. I know that he's always looking down on me and will be my daughter's personal guardian angel. It's going to be a special day when she enters the world but to have her on the 13th would just be so surreal :) I'm happy with whatever day she comes in the end

Thank you milaaaa004. It would be amazing but obviously as long as she comes out healthy then it doesn't matter what day she comes. Would just remind me that my dad is always here with me even when I don't think so sometimes.

Well As of Monday I still was not dilated. So hopefully by doing some things on my own at home it will help me dilate and maybe she will be here on the 13th like I hope for. In the long run any day would be good for me, it would just make it a little extra special :)

Thank you everyone. It Was a lung and rough delivery which ended in a csection and a 2 day stay in the nicu for my little girl. But we're home now and settling in.
