Anxious April mom

I'm due April 29th and I began getting contractions on April 3rd. I headed to L&D and my contractions were five minutes apart for 2 minutes long. I was only 2CM dilated. I was told I was in early labor It's been two weeks and I continue having contractions stronger and closer together followed by lots of pressure in my lower area. I got sent home to do some walking and it's been a week and my baby's still not trying to come out but my contractions are still here. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow hoping Ive dilated enough to go to the hospital. Has anyone had this issue? This is my first pregnancy and I do not know what to expect. They say you will know when it's time to head to the hospital so I guess it's still not time.

Im due the 30th and was at 3cm, fully effaced on Wednesday, doc says anytime now within the week....but this is my second and i have heard that line already. So now I am just waiting trying to keep active. Im so ready for him to be here!

@brittany9483 It's good to know that I'm not alone. I've also done a lot of nesting. I live upstairs which requires a lot of walking up and down first trip to the hospital I got back home and immediately washed all my sons clothes cleaned the closet made room  for his stuff set up the crib cleaned thoroughly now I've got nothing left to do but wait. I just want to meet my son already but soon enough whenever he's ready.

This is my third and I've experienced contractions since 36 weeks, I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow. I've also been told I'm in early labor and have experenced the same thing you are discribing with all three of them. My last appointment I was 3cm dilated and 50% effaced, that was 4 days ago. They've picked up in strength recently, probably doesn't help that I've been outside with this nice weather cleaning the yard and getting the ground flattened back out to set the pool on, I got yelled at by my husband for doing that but I was just using the rake to smooth everything back out. I've been "nesting" really bad this week. The catch all closet has been completely cleaned and organized, which I usually put off and have hubby do it. I even dusted everything which is something else I hate doing. I've been washing floors everyday and going insane with cleaning. It won't be long and we will have our babies.
