my not so planned labor story

Just wanted to share my wonderful news that my baby boy is here with us. He is the cutest and most precious baby :) I was due April 8 so my Dr scheduled a NST for me on the 10th. My baby's  heartbeat wasn't too impressive so I was sent to get an ultrasound. The fluid levels were extremely low so I was sent to labor and delivery ASAP to be induced. I was hooked up to pitocin and they were monitoring his heartbeat for about 18 hrs. He was not responding well with my contractions or the medication and either was I. After all day and night I was only 2cm and was not going anywhere fast. The on call Dr made a quick decision to do a c section for the safety of my baby. I was so emotional and upset and scared! I was planning to try all natural and it went from that to induction to c section! Anyway the surgery went great. I was awake the entire time. My baby is great and my BF is amazing and doing mostly everything but breastfeeding bc I can't get out of bed yet. Well sorry it's long but just wanted to wish everyone luck no matter what way your babies come into this world :) it's all worth it!
