sent home :(

Went in and was monitored at 2-3min contractions, 4cm dilated and a bulging sac. They sent me on a two hour walk and I came back with no change in dilation so they sent me home :( stinks bc it takes me 1hr to 1 1/2hrs to get to the hospital. With this being my second baby I am hoping i feel contractions before my water breaks. I don't want a highway baby!!

Had my boy tonight!! 7lbs 7oz, 21.5inches. My contractions were not regulating but were soo intense while i walked target today that i decided to go in even though the doc told me when i called him that he was just going to send me home again if there was no change. I almost went home bc i was tired and didnt see my contractions getting closer together and was so discouraged. Well on my way out i had a heavy contraction that put me in tears so i called my doc told him i didnt care if he thinks he will send me home i wanted him to check me again! Got to the hospital and was 7cm 100% effaced!!

This is what I am scared of. I'm 2 days from due date, so hopefully I don't get sent home. We have a 35 minute drive (normally) to get to the hospital, but now they are do construction on the interstate to the hospital. If we go around on the highways it will double our time to get there! Good luck with everything and I hope you have your little one soon!!

Thank you. My contractions are more intense today but not as consistent, so I am just waiting it out. I know things are getting ready and my little guy will be here soon. Congrats to you on your little one :)

They sent me home. If i was 39 weeks they would have just broke my waters. I have a bulging bag which was explained to me as the bag is being pushed out of my cervix and could be broken easily or could break soon. I was 3cm 100% at my appt on Wednesday. Im going to do a lot of walking today and try to stay near the hospital just in case. Nurse pretty much said if my water breaks and my contractions are too hard to find the nearest hospital. This is my second and they usually come faster.

Woke up so bummed.... i feel so close. The nurse said my sac could easily be broken, but they cant bc I am not 39 weeks yet, so she was hoping it would break on my walk :( . I am 38+3.
