20 weeks only feel fluttering occasioally

Well i am 20 weeks and havent felt the baby kick yet, is that uncommon. I have been for 2 ultrasounds everything looked good baby matched dates, and have heard heartbeat recently so baby is still okay. This is my third pregnancy and my last son was born only eight months by c section, could that have anything to do with it? Just unsure although i do feel fluttering every once in awhile, not everyday. Anyone who has any info please write back thanks

I'm nearly 18 weeks and i feel this little one alot especially when i'm sitting down. This is my third child. It feels great knowing that it is obviously ok in there especially after having a miscarriage in Oct last year. Everyone is different and i wouldn't worry especially since your u/s is coming back fine. Like i said they feel great at the moment but i know by the end of the 9 mths i will be sick of those moments lol.

I had my 20 week u/s last week and was amazed that I could see my baby kicking like crazy, yet I felt nothing!  About a day after that I did start to feel him and have since, but he moved his position which may be why I am feeling him now.  I have talked to so many women that didn't feel any movement until months!  Give it time, once your baby starts all that moving around, you will laugh at how worried you were.  I know I did!

My SIL didn't feel her baby until around 30 weeks because the placenta was in front. Plus like someone else already pointed out they sleep most of the day. Mine doesn't really get going until around 8 or 9pm when I sit still.

very normal. Most likely, your placenta is in front and cushioning most of the kicks. That is what my situation is. Since my placenta is right in front, there is only a small area at the bottom left of my abdomen where i feel kicks. I've been feeling it there since 12 weeks. My dr showed me my placenta on the U/S, and pointed out that due to the position, the baby doesn't hang out much on the small side where i do feel things. I am 18 weeks and just in the past 2 days started to feel anything in the middle of my tummy. Those kicks must be pretty hard for me to finally be able to feel them in the middle.

I believe all of that to be true but I think we just want to feel them KNOW, especially after 2 m/c in my case it will just make me feel better.

I am just over 20 weeks and apart from the occasional tugging sensation - I have felt nothing more. It is normal so don't worry. I felt so much poking in there for a week and then nothing for the next 4 days - then it started again. Baby is asleep 95% of the time so don't expect too much movement. Sometimes baby's position and the amniotic fluid mean we don't feel all the movements. As long as the heartbeat is strong, you are fine. I was worried a couple of weeks ago but the midwife advised it's normal. Now I'm waiting for the hiccups - which I think happens after 22-24 weeks:). Take care and enjoy your pregnancy.
