It took him a second to understand then he flipped out (in a really good way!). Best Christmas ever.

How did you tell SO about your pregnancy? He rung me from work when he knew I had done the test.. I remember making a bizarre squeeking noise down the phone when he asked me! It was New Year's Eve which is a nice memory though it was strange spending New Year's Eve sober for a change! :)

Wanted back what I lost, tried IVF only to find poor embryo quality at 31, it failed, thought it would never happen, then IUI+gonanatropins (same IVF meds, same bottles etc) BFP!! Triplets, then m/c baby C, 3 angel babies, now prego with twins.

What's your TTC Story? Maybe this is my midlife crisis playing out...I'm not sure. Anyways my DH has not children and I have two children from another life...both teenagers and one's on his way out. So I got serious baby cravings again and we started TTC when I was 39 close to 40, got pregnant and miscarried. Got pregnant 4 more times and also miscarried. Now I am pregnant and things going much better. I am a little over 10 weeks. We gave up using my eggs and had a little help :) from science.

How did you tell SO about your pregnancy? We did IVF so he knew when I knew. I took the test at home 4 days earlier than supposed too. The blood test to confirm was Dec. 19, 2008.

What's your TTC Story? OK, sorry this is long. We have m/c 6 times in the past 3 years consecutively. Began seeing a Reproductive Endo. Had a Lap done, plus an abundance of testing, including my DH sperm. Went through 1 cycle of clomid, and 2 IVF cycles. 1st IVF cycle, the nurse told me the wrong dosage of meds. I didn't produce that many eggs. The 2nd IVF cycle is God's miracle. After finding out I was pregnant, levels at 246, 3days later levels only 329, 4 days later levels at 47. We recieved the call my pregnancy was not viable. Went in for a post visit with my RE, she told I should start on another cycle of IVF on my next cycle. I asked her was she sure I was not having an etopic. Oh no my levels were gone by now. Even though I had not bled or cramped. Ok! She said the baby had reabsorbed. Well 11 days later after GOD, no really, telling me something was not right stop and take a test, I went and bought HPT. Can you imagine my surprise when the digital immediately showed a pregnant. Called the RE, went in for a blood test, levels 5013, 2 sacs, one with a viable HB but a small gestational sac. Needless to say, I left that dr. went back to my OB. Finally got tired of all her excuses and I am currently 10wks pregnant with a baby measuring to date, and HB at 178 last week.
