JOSEPH JAMES HAS ARRIVED

Okay...so I am a bit late but didn't have internet for a while due to moving.

Joseph James was born on August 25th, 2011.  He was born at 2:30 p.m. weighing 7lb 4oz and 19 inches long.  He is just beautiful.  He was born with a slight heart murmur but it is expected to take care of itself.  He is doing well but is not sleeping well and that is really hard for me.  I have been suffering from PPD pretty badly but I hope to be feeling better soon.

I have missed you all and missed being on here.  I hope I can start getting on regularly again soon.  Take care everyone!!!

have they put him on anything for the GERD. I swear the day they finally listened to me and put her on meds she was a changed baby. THey have her on Zantac twice aday a very small dose and it is really helping her maybe u  could see if that can help but  def try the boppy pillow things  that really helps ms Avery but she still has her hard nights where all she wants to do is sleep on me my DH swears its cause i have the boobs lol. I hate when everyone tells me to sleep when she sleeps  i am like well if i could sedate my others kids to be able to all nap at the same time lol . IT go harder for me when i went back to work and she still was not sleeping i spent the frist seven weeks sleepin  sitting up while in a rocking motion on the couch and i watched a many of late night tv. again ask about some meds for the Gerd it is such a smal dose and it really does help. Is he sleeping at all or is it just when he is layin on you ?

Awww, thanks girl. Yeah, Joseph has GERD too.  But as soon as I lay him down, he wakes up.  I don't  know how he survives on such little sleep because I sure can't!!!  I keep telling myself that this stage doesn't last forever....but it sure feels like it sometimes :)

Well congrats on ur lil man. I know how diffcult it is when they arent sleeping i swear ms avery didnt sleep the frist seven weeks of her life unless she was on my chest. She has horrible gerd and had to go on meds and soy formula due to her colic. She is sleep a good stretch at night now but we have to have her propped up on a boppy pillow to she is almost in a sitting postion. I hear u about ppd. It seems the lack of sleep doesnt help either. Hopefully things will get better and ur lil man will sleep sometimes. If every u need to vent or chat feel free to pm ok
