I have never had a c-section, but know the first few days, you are sore and tender in the tummy.  I am sure they give something to help w/ that pain if you want it.

As far as her turning on her own...I don't know how they do it, but there is a way they can actually turn the baby before you have it.  It is done externally and I have no idea how they do it, but I know it can be done.  I've heard other ladies here on MH talk about having to have it done.

Thanks só much ladies for your answers :) today I went to the midwife appointment and found out my baby girl is now in the breech position... She was since the 25th in the head down positon... If she doesnt turn it will have to be a c-section... But I really wanted a natural delivery.... Although as long as my baby girl is health I'm happy... Does anyone one know how is the recovery from c-section? Thanks again and I'm happy we all doing well :)

You will be fine .. Just remember that.  I had a birth plan with my first child and there were a few things that went as planned but there was a lot that didn't go as planned since I had high blood pressure and had to be induced.  I think that if you want to write a few things down to give to the doctor that is on call or nurses that is fine but you also have to remember that your birth will probably not go as planned and be open to the fact that as long as the baby is healthy and you are healthy that is all that matters at the end of the day.

I have never had a birth plan either.  I have heard of people that have them and then get really disappointed w/ their births because things didn't go as they planned.

My suggestion is to first, not be afraid.  It is totally normal to be anxious and have some fear, especially w/ first babies, but just remember that women have been giving birth since the beginning of time.  Also be open minded.  If you want to try for a natural labor, then you can certainly do that.  There are also many pain relief options.  The epidural is probably the most common/popular one, but it isn't the only one.  I am w/ jtaylor, in that I see no reason to be in pain if you don't have to be but again, if you want to try it med free, you have that right and option.

Good luck and try not to worry.  Soon you will be holding your sweet baby!

I was also hoping for normal delivery but from 38 week ultrasound we found that the baby is in the breech position and have to do C-section, which we never planned. I hated c-sec but hv to go with it.

I can tell you I never set up a birth plan with any of my kids lol I just tried to use all relaxation methods I could think of to keep myself calm. now I have a really high pain tolerance buti stll opt for pain medication during labor I figure why make urself be in pain when you really don't have to be. you can talk to ur dr about what u may want to hapen
like are u going for a natural birth or are u wanted to use pain medication.  now I have done it both ways and I survived to tell the tale :-) just relax and remember whatever you have to go throughout u are getting the best lil gift at the end of it all. trust me u will forget everything that happens or that u feared would happen when u hold and hear u lil one good luck
