could be the start of early labor. do the pains go away when u walk or dtink fuilds? that was happening to me the day before my due date but I was already 4 cm dlated so my dr told me to go home start walking try having sex or if I was really desperate try thw castor oil trick. well I was also having horrible backto the point where I couldn't even walk with out crying. so I did what the dr told me to do and I went into labor on my own at two am and then had my baby 45 mons later so it sounds lie strong BH but try to keep walking hopefully it will stir things up for you good luck

where you dilated at all on thursday? many times you can have pains prior to labor. if you are only having 2 an hr. you definitely have a ways to go. you should go to the hospital when you are to uncomfortable. the worst that will happen is that they will send you home if you arent ready yet.
first labor is usually pretty long. are you getting an epidural? when you get the pain try to walk around. you dont have any water leaking do you?
