twins?

I have gained 13-15 pounds since I have been pregnant and I'm only 6 weeks pregnant.. could it be twins? You can also tell I'm pregnant I look like I'm about 18 weeks.. we have one set of twins on the side of the family. But that's it. Could I possibly be farther along? I never have had two periods in one month but i did this month one on the 4th of october and one october 30th the one on the 30th i only bled 3 days not the normal 5.. if i go by october 4th as last period id be 9 weeks if i go by the 30th id be 6 weeks if im 9 weeks could i already be showing amd gained this much??

I agree with crixiancrucial. Even with twins you wouldn't have gained that much weigh or have many difference than a singleton because the baby's would be so tiny. It's most likely from bloat and water retention. Best way to determine if you are carrying twins would be with an ultrasound or to have you HCG levels looked at to see if they are abnormally high. :)

I don't really think that you would even be showing at 9 week swith twins and all the weight gain could be due to bloating I had it bad. The only way to know for sure if its twins is to get an ultrasound done.
