Freaking myself out

I'm a ftm and am going to be induced on thursday because of my baby's size. I heard it hurts more than regular labor and im not a good person at tolerating alot of pain.how soon can you have the epidural after the induction? I'm also nervous because my baby is a stargazer and if i have to have a cesarean, it will be my first major surgery. Any tips? I've been trying to get labor going on my own, but she seems pretty content.

I'm getting induced Tuesday too due to her being big so I know exactly how your feeling, I think it's the anticipation of knowing it's going to happen that day

Aa soon as the contractions start hurting or feeling uncomfterble you can ask for the epidural. I was induced with my 2 and it is a little more intense. I might have to be again with this pregnancy. Just relax and dont stress everything will be fine. Good luck
