Hen Do and wedding without friends guessing pgs?!

Looking for some creative/practical suggestions if I may ladies?

I am bridesmaid at my friends wedding THIS SATURDAY. The hen night is Thursday and from that afternoon pretty much through till the Sunday I will be expected to drink, drink and drink!!!

We are not telling family about the four week bean until Xmas day and I don't want my mates guessing before then. (Also don't want to steal wedding thunder from my friend).

So...I can't say I'm ill/on meds and not drinking (we have all known each other for decades and have all dragged ourselves out drinking when ill at some points)

Was thinking about pretending to drink and get drunk but keep slipping off, tipping drinks away etc. This sounds EXHAUSTING but my only plan so far.
If I get caught doing this I will be BUSTED!

Anyone got any genius excuses/plots?!

Thanks in advance

Sparkling cider - I'm doing that tonight at my party. Or seltzer with a little cranberry!

Tried out mission lime and soda last night and it worked a charm. Good luck!

Good ideas peeps, much appreciated :)
The soda and lime idea is fab...no one's gonna be testing my drink for alcohol! My partner will be buying me this at the wedding and reckon I'll easily get away with it then.
I know it's elaborate but I might even take some watered down Apple juice to the hen and fill a wine glass in the toilets....this all feels very sneaky and a little extreme I know but it's the only way to keep suspicions at bay!

You could drink soda with lime in it and say you are drinking gin and tonic. Or perhaps a mocktail?

You could go with that plan -- but if you to get caught, make sure that you have a good enough excuse! Like youre trying to loose a few pounds and don't want to drink too much. Most alcoholic beverages are high in sugar/carbs and calories. Also your body can only do one thing at a time-- digest food or alcohol. It is a pretty legitimate excuse, but it is just one example. I hope this helps. Good luck! :)

Yep, that's what I thought would be the best idea rather than lies and excuses...I am so excited though I wish I could just tell them!
Have you told your family and friends yet?

I would definitely have a drink in my hand all night without actually sipping..don't think anyone will notice since everyone will be drunk
