I just need to vent!!

So.. I'm technically 35 weeks and 3 days, but I am measuring at 38 weeks and 3 days. My baby is already close to 8 pounds..
I get a phone call from my Dr's office confirming my csection for Aug 7 @ 12.. I must have sounded really down because the receptionist kept apologizing. A week ago I had to go to the hospital because I started having contractions. The nurses there all had me at 37 weeks and 5 days.. they were confused at the fact I was only 34 weeks at the time. Why are they waiting so long to take my baby?? Do they want me to have a 12 pound baby? I'm already in so much pain as it is. I can barely walk and I never get any sleep because I'm so uncomfortable. I'm starting to get super depressed and I just don't know how much more of this I can take. I'm not a big person, how much more can my body stretch? I'm normally 5'4 and 100 lbs. I don't know what to do and my husband feels so bad that there is nothing he can do for me. Any other ladies going through this? I really feel for you if you are!!

Thank you ladies for the encouragement!! It just gets so hard the further along you get!! It's so nice to see other women going through the same experiences and knowing you're not alone in all this. Pregnancy is supposed to be a happy and beautiful thing, but for some of us, it's a long hard road!! My dr and I talked and it looks like I may only have a week or so left because they think I have PIH. I wish you all the best of luck with the rest of your pregnancies!! You and I are the same size. My baby is also big and I'm just trying to make it to at least 37 weeks when his lungs are developed and when he can properly eat until I start to freak out. I have 30 days until 40 weeks and 9 days until 37 weeks. I'm also wondering about the final weight of baby because my son was 7 pounds and was STUCK and my OB knows this but has said nothing..

Even though your baby is measuring at 38+weeks, it might just be the weight part of it. He still needs time to be fully mature in terms of all his body parts. Just hang in there Hun, and wait till your actual 37 weeks to complete before you decides to do anything.

You have come this far, just few more weeks. Stay strong!

Although he is measuring big his lungs etc may need to develop a little bit more. I am 36 weeks tomorrow and I am getting inpatient also but guess we just need to wait. Good luck x

I'm so sorry you're going through what you are!
Have a bit more patience, it's a few more weeks. You've already done 35!
