Waters broken. 5 cm dialated now
Pill not bloody pillow lol
Ok been at hospital since saterday. Sunday midwife inserted a pillow to soften my cervix coz it was really thick and checked me said I was 2 cm dialated. Started having regular contractions this morning so checked me again said cervix was much softer and I was 3cm, moved me to Labour ward just had an epidural I can't feel contractions, their gonna break my waters now then I'll update again. Can't wait to meet my little man wish me luck :)
Good luck!!! I was induced on the 6th and had my baby boy on the 7th. No epidural or pain meds...Thank GOD! He came out in 4 pushs, I hope you're as lucky ;)
At hospital now been here since yesterday. They were going to ok induce me last night but then checked me and said because I'm nearly 3 cm dialated they wer just going to break my waters instead of sticking pill or gel up there. I'm not too sure what the difference is.. also I need to wait for a bed to available in the Labour ward for them to do that. So I'm in another ward just waiting it out. They give epidural in the Labour ward also not here so hoping to get one soon as I get there before they break my waters, but I don't think they 'll agree to give me one unless I'm in pain... Feeling confused about most things right now
Thank you all feel better knowing epidural will take all pain away. I'm just waiting for hospital to call so I can go in. Mimilove3 good luck for tomorrow hope all goes well x will keep you updated on how it goes. God just want my baby out now need my body back lol!
I just had my baby boy last Sunday via induction. And epidural is beyond amazing. It works like a charm. I am a FTM and I was terrified of the pains I might get. So I requested epidural before induction. The process started at 7 ish am in the morning and I had my baby boy at 4:15pm. Good luck dear!
My epideral did not take all the pain away. When I was close to the actual delivery it hurt like no other.
Best wishes you know ive never been indused so hope its not bad. Hope u have a supper fast and as painless of a labour as it can be. Im going in Sunday Eeeekkkk!!!
Yes the epidural will take all the pain away yo u will be numb from the waist down and Wil not feel a thing. It is absolutely heaven sent..lol. it will last as long as they need it to last it is a constant drip in your back. Once they insert the needle a very small tube is inserted in your back that administers the medicine till you don't need it anymore. That is my understanding of how it works anyway. Good luck and wow you going at it alone your a brave mama kudos to you the sacrifices we make for our children right?!! Good luck to you and everything is going to be just fine
