Less than 2 hours!

Then we get to try and see what gender our little munchkin is! I am so excited I can hardly contain myself. I'm running on zero sleep and I'm just ready to find out!

It was a very disappointing day. They didn't even look for the gender, just took measurements and scheduled me for another u/s in 4 weeks. Before I knew what was happening he had the machine off and put up and told me to make an appt. Otherwise I would have asked if he could look, but he was gone so fast. I'll be 23 weeks when they look at the baby again...

That is complete BS! You really should call and complain to someone. I'm so sorry!!! We were all looking forward to hearing your news. Hope it gets worked out and that you get to find out before 23 weeks.

I'm 19 weeks and 2 days. And we were told when we made the appointment over a month ago that they'd do their best to tell us. Today they literally only took measurements and printed out a couple pictures.

Ugh thats awful. Would your dr have the results?  The techs in my town dont reveal the gender. The results go to the dr

Actually it was really odd, my Dr was in the room and they brought someone in with a machine. They both left really quickly. My husband wants me to find a different doctor but there just aren't anymore high risk ones in my hospital network that aren't full for August.

That whole situation seems really strange to me. You should give them a call and tell them that you feel you were treated unfairly and demand another US. Advocate for yourself. This is about your baby!

My doctor was unable to tell the gender of our baby at 14 weeks due to anterior placenta so I waited 2 weeks and went to a 3d/4d ultrasound place. They had no problem determining the gender. The place I went to charged $75, but it was so worth it to me.

kayraay, that's exactly what I'm doing. I found a good deal at a local place and set an appt for next Thursday
