I bounced for about 3 hours straight and then two hours later I went into labor. While bouncing I googled yoga ball to induce labor and found a lot of women swore by doing figure eights and hula hoop type circles instead of just bouncing straight up and down.

I bounce on it every day now. Helping or not but doesn't hurt either:) Baby likes it, i sit on the ball every time she moves so much that i'm very uncomfortable, bouncing calms her down:)

I don't know about inducing labor, I didn't use mine as often, maybe a night here and there. I also didn't do a lot of walking, but when I was in labor with my son, who is going to be 2 weeks tomorrow, I believe it helped me with contractions and also to dilate. I bounced on it for a while and then went out for a walk before heading to the hospital. I was in labored for 4 hours.

I have bounced on mine a lot before bed every night and I believe it's helped her drop and I've dilated more. I also walk a lot too. But I'm still waiting!! :)
