I would never do a c section unless it was necessary or and emergency. To start off u stay in the hospital longer and to heal it's a longer process too. I'm on my 3rd baby due in 11 days and I pray i have her normal. Just my opinion good luck!

Once you have a c section you can never to natural birth again. And you go back after wards, it's a misconception thinking you won't ever go back. You can opt for them to give you a little snip down there that can me sown up. Less recovery. When you have a c section it's harder to bfeed and you'll need a pillow to cough or sneeze cause your stitches can rip. I watched my cousin walk around like she was having cramps a week or two after she had an emergency c section.  My mom says she feels she missed out cause she only had c sections. I'm over due and I can barly move with out feeling like I'm being kicked in the vag I'm so glad I'm being induced on Tuesday I pray I don't have a c section. I wanna hold my baby afterwards not be asleep :(

You can still have a chance to have a normal birth after a csection. Yes csection are more recovery but everyone is different. My baby is still breech so I'll probably be getting one but I don't mind anymore. And you can get a csection while being awake...^^ my friend just had one she held the baby and everything right after.

I had an emergency c section a little over a yr and a half ago and will have planned c section next week since my baby is measuring big. The recovery was a little rough the first day however the more I moved around it got much easier and I even went back to work at 6 weeks. I was awake for the emergency c section & will be for this one. I got to hold my baby after delivery for a short time before they took him away as well.

I have had 3 vaginal deliveries and 1 c section recently in July. The recovery of a c section is MUCH harder. I was awake and the baby was placed on me when she was out. You have to make the best decision for yourself. Only you can decide.

If you have Netxflix, watch More Business of Being Born... there's an episode on c sections. It's much healthier for your baby to be born vaginally if possible.

I had a c-section last Fri, 14 Aug and it's still painful to move about now. During confinement period I have to really take care when going up & down the stairs, getting out of bed or any other activities. If only my baby wasn't in breech position - I would definitely go for vaginal delivery. But trust me - for deliveries are beautiful & meaningful. As long as you are healthy & the baby is too. God is with you. Much love & good luck!

Everyone is diff.I had my c section a month ago and healed up very fast! I had my c section on the Tuesday and was released on Thursday. I got to hold my baby directly after having her while they stitched me up. And 3 days after leaving the hospital I went on 2 mile walks with my husband and our children. Everyone heals differently. This was my second c section. My first one was 12 yrs ago and an emergency  c section where I got a cross cut cuz they couldn't get my son out. I say if u don't NEED a c section then don't get one cuz they r more risky but if u have to have one then don't stress over it.

I think wanting to have a c section because you don't want anything to happen to your vagina is very ignorant and so selfish. This is probably the dumbest post I've ever seen.
