Baby gets so frustrated when I try to breastfeed and daddy does too

Hi I just have birth August 19 i was in hospital 6 days my daughter latched right after birth and we had no problems nursing until about 1 month 1week old I joined a program called head start and they said that my baby Dr wouldn't like her slowish weight gain she was 5 pd 15oz at birth and at one month was about 6pd 12 ozso even tho they said they support breastfeeding all the way I felt pressured to use formula however when i seen the pediatrician she had a healthy weight gain and is now 7 pd 7oz at 1month almost 2 weeks but since I had been so busy and been feeling overwhelmed and exhuasted since my bf would always just bring a bottle every time I'd try to breast feed I felt like I was set up to fail... I'd really like to have my daughter breastfeed and have been pumping semi regularly to keep milk flow...is her being fussy before latching normal crying even? Should I keep trying or does she really not like to breastfeed? Help please.

I breastfed my first for a whole year and currently breastfeeding my son who was born August. 16. It really helps if you have a feeding/pumping schedule. Your body then learn how much milk it needs to produce for baby. I know it can get frustrating and very overwhelming but you will get through it. Hang in there it's all worth it : )

Dont get overwhelmed.Breastfeeding takes patience and you have do have plenty of it. If weight is no problem for your baby Continue to breastfeed if so do some substituting with breast and formula until your milk flows correctly. You can do this by pumping often or drinking some lactating tea.
