Had my baby 12/29

So i was scheduled to be induced at midnight monday morning but i went into labor on my own sunday night about 7 pm. I was contracting so bad that i couldnt walk so i decided to go to the hospital at around 9 pm. Got to the hospital at 10 pm and they checked me and i was 5 cm dilated they then got me sent up on the monitors and got my iv in and gave me a shot of stadoll (sp) that lasted till about 1130 then i was 7 cm by 12 and got the epidural at 1215. Got checked again around 4 am and was 9cm and stayed there until 720. I started pushing at 730 and she was born at 754 Dec 29. She weighed in at 8 lbs 15 oz and 20 in long with white/blonde hair and blue eyes.

I had to push for an hour and a half..and that was b/c they gave me my epidural at 10cm dilated, so I couldn't feel contractions...plus they slowed WAY down....then they started me on Pitocin......Luckily due to the epidural, I couldn't feel ANYTHING when he came out!

thanks the labor was a lot easier than with my son with him i had to push for 2 1/2 hours and then delivered him by forceps and with her i didnt even push for 30 mins but her shoulder did get stuck.

congrats...so glad it went well and that you didn't have to be induced after all!  I was 5cm by the time I went in too.....not bad..I'd rather be at home than in the hospital!  Again, congrats on your new little bundle!
