Mucous Plug????
Hey ladies, I have a question that may be really gross to some of you. But today I went to the bathroom and when I wiped it felt really slick so I looked at the toilet paper and it literally looked like someone who had a cold blew their nose on the toilet paper. Mom said it's just discharge, because she thinks a mucous plug would be a different color. Any advice????
yeah i just read up on it to double check they are diffrent but not at the same time, the mucus plug is alot of mucus little blood, and The bloody show will be obviously different than the mucus plug as it is mostly blood and very little or no mucus. so did the dr deliver any good news for you?
Thank you. My doctor told me a bloody show and mucous plug are two different things.
mucus plug is a snot like substance with bloody tinges in it, also called bloody show i would contact your health care provider to check to see if your plug is still intact you can also be starting to loose your plug, which is common to happen 24 hours up to 2 weeks before delivery. gl and god bless
