25 weeker

So my baby was due on the 2nd of December, but due to an incompetent cervix I had my litte baby girl angel on Aug 19 at 25 weeks. This whole NICU experience is so hard to go through. I'm glad that she's still here. Has anyone else out there had to go through an NICU experience? I really could hear some sucess stories right about now. Thank u.

I don't have any experience with the NICU, but I think Josie Duggar was a 25 weeker also. lol. And she is doing good from what I've heard on the news and stuff. I am so sorry you had to go through preterm labor. It has to be a terrifying experience! I've heard girls are more resilient! Hang in there!!! Keep up posted on how she is! I'll be praying for you!

I am not sure if this is much of a help but I watch that show N.I.C.U and I have seen 25 weekers born on the show. I do know it is T.V but I am hoping that offers some support. I will prayer fo you and your baby. Please keep us updated as often as you can.

Congratulations to you! As much as I am sure you are worried and stressed (duh!), I hope you know that your story gives other people hope! I read your note, and of course, pre-term labor is always scary, but your little girl is alive, and fighting!  That is so awesome for the rest of us who around 25 weeks to know that there is hope for us if God decides to bring us our babies early!  I have looked at the calendar at times thinking..well..if they came today, would we have any chance?!  So while you are struggling, and I am truly sorry for that --please know that your story is helpful to others.

As for your situation, I wish you good luck, good health, and that your little girl is strong!!  Come home soon baby girl!

I have never gone through it myself, but my mom did in the 2008 however I think my baby brother was due in the beginning of January and she had his the beginning of November so he had to stay there for two months and now he's a big 1yr 8months old and very healthy! Don't give up on hope..some say baby girls are stronger. Congratulations and you and your baby will certainly be in my prayers!

Oh congratulations! I'm due on 3rd of December and i can't imagine having my little one already. I'm afraid i have no experience of pre-term births but wish you all the luck in the world x
