January Updates!

Lexi hasn't had her well check yet because she had a seizure on her birthday, so we pushed it back until the 10th of this month after she visits the neurologist. Her EEG came back totally normal, and we're very grateful for that.

At the follow up appointment a few days after her birthday she weighed 20 pounds and 2 ounces and was 30.5" long.

She's walking now and waves "Hi" and says Hi. She babbles nonstop and is constantly on the go. Her favorite toys are her elephant rocker, the twirlin' tumbler,  Mega bloks, her little people's doll house, and a plain old bouncy ball. She will sit for hours and roll the ball back and forth to you and clap her hands.

She's weaned from the bottle and takes milk in her sippy. She's also eating mainly regular food, with the occasional baby food that I still give her. She loves yogurt, tomatoes, zucchini, chicken, and basically anything else. She hates pancakes and hamburger meat, which may be unamerican. Haha!

We may transition her to her toddler bed in March and we're trying to get rid of the pacifier, but it's slow going. When I weaned her from the bottle she went cold turkey. She was just ready to give it up and drink milk. I'm just ready for her to deicde she doesn't want the pacifier.

Hope all is well! How are our other little December babies?

Hey, so I joined December 2010 babies and mine was born on November 30th lol! Anyway, I still consider myself part of this group anyway! Olivia is doing very well, she has 8 teeth through and a few more already trying to "poke" through, she gave up the pacifier about 2 weeks ago and has recently gave up her noise machine also!! Only issue we're really having is getting her to eat ppl food!! She went straight to the sippy cup without any fuss at all but has just refused to eat regular food. ALso does anyone have a LO that gets up in the early am for a bottle still? SHe still wakes up at about 5-6:30 am for a bottle of milk. Hope everyone else and their LO's are doing well!!
