34 Weeks Tomorrow, U/S Yesterday

I had another u/s and my first, weekly non-stress test yesterday.  Both babies are doing good, both sitting in there breech :(   Baby A's butt was so low in my cervix, she was hard to measure but the tech. estimated 4 lbs. 12 oz. and Baby B (who is usually 2 oz. smaller) measured 5 lbs.  And my uterus at last week's appt. measured 42, I'm anxious to see what it is tomorrow.

ha ha! I'm with you on the hiccups. B has them way more than A!  I'm also with you on being nervous about going past 37 weeks. My old Dr. (we moved) said that you don't go past 37 weeks with twins because of the stress. My Drs have never said that so the midwife telling me 39 weeks and the hospital telling me 38 weeks makes me nervous because of ovulating a week early - I'm going to be at my due date before I get my scheduled c section!

i found out at my ob that there has been no change in my cervix since they checked it 2 weeks ago....

baby A was measuring about 3 lbs 5 oz and baby B was measuring 2 lb 13 oz....baby B actually put on more weight than baby A for the first time and had more fluid....its been opposite the entire time so it looks like baby B might catch up to baby A but we'll see

we started discussing a delivery date but one ob says 36 weeks and the other tried to say 38 but i freaked out and said that the rate of stillborn for identical twins increases a lot after 37 weeks and i refuse to go past that....after starting to almost cry she said that at 35 weeks i could opt to do amnio to check lung maturity and if the lungs are mature we can deliver from any point

its still in the air when these boys will arrive....34 weeks is the week of thanksgiving and 36 weeks is the beg of dec....its exciting though

i have my next u/s on 11/9 and go back to the ob on tuesday and ill try and pin down what is the plan for me

it is exciting but im ready...it seems like one baby has the hiccups or the other is moving 24/7...sleep is near impossible anymore

What did you find out at your u/s?  This is so exciting! We're getting so close!!!

im now 30 weeks and my next ob appt is tomororw....i think they are going to recheck my cervix and make sure there are no more changes....i also my growth u/s tomorrow so they will check on both babies growth....based on the past the babies should be between 3 and 4 lbs

im guessing the week of thanksgiving is when these boys will join us or the week after

i have issues with PROM and so anytime i go anywhere i freak out worrying my water is going to break so im not trying to go anywhere right now

Hi! I'm glad you're doing well.  I hope you make it atleast to 34 too, when I was pregnant with my first I walked around for a month and a half dialated to 1 and he was so low the dr. touched his head when he checked me.  Two weeks ago one of the drs checked my cervix and said it felt 50% effaced and then the next week, that Dr. said he thought it still felt thick so at last weeks appt. I didn't even tell her (midwife) that I was supposed to be checked, although I did have a lot of contractions the Friday before that so I should have had her check but the Doc. on Wed. will check me (he's the one that thought I was 50%) and at my last appt. my uterus measured 44 weeks. And yeah, I've been on weekly appts for a month now.  and I'm thinking these girls will come between Halloween (hopefully not on) and Nov. 7th. That's just my guess :)

im now 29 weeks and my belly measured 39 weeks on tues

i have my next u/s 10/26 when ill be 30 weeks and hopefully these babies are over 3 lbs, possibly close to 4

i also found out i was dialted 1.5cm and 50% effaced so the reality of these babies coming is hitting much harder lately....i am sure i will deliver these guys in nov....just a matter of when

34 weeks is my first goal....congrats on making it to 34 weeks
