Update on Baby Liam

So as most of you know Liam was born at 33wks he is now 2weeks old (tommorow) 35wks GA. He is doing great he was born at 4lbs 3oz today his weight was 4lbs 6oz. He has started to just take breast and bottle for over 24hrs now (doctors want him to go 48hrs before they think about letting him come home). So he might be home this weekend and I'm so excited but I'm not going to get upset if he doesn't until next weekend.

that is great news....glad to hear he is doing well.....my daughter was exact 4lbs 3oz and born at 32.1 weeks....she spent 15 days in the nicu and came home....the only issue i had was acid reflux with her.....liam may or may not get it but watch out for it....it is extremely painful for babies....Em was on meds for 4 months and it just went away but she aspirated and stopped breathing at home 3x so take the baby cpr class....dont want to scare you....just letting you know because i had no clue with Em

Isn't amazing how much of a fighter something so little can be. I'm so happy that Liam is developing so well. I hope things continue to improve so that you're bundle of joy can finally go home. I hope you are doing well also. : )
