I had it horribly with my first pregnancy. I would get these awful pains in my sides. After trying it seemed like everything, I had to take a stool softener which I eventually became immune to, then very rarely, I would have to take a laxative. Laxative was the absolute last resort due to constant pains.
I'm the same way. So I eat a bowl of cereal n milk n it helps me
Very much. Drink lots of water and eat plenty of green leafy veggies. The roughage will clean u out n have u needing to boo boo.
Oh yes totally relate, I'm 11 weeks today and I swear I can only poop like once a week if not one every other week, I hate it and I have IBS and reflux to boot, no matter how much water I drink, or fruit I eat nothing is moving anywhere! Ugh and it's so draining and I look like I'm already like 6 months
I totally have that problem. My dr had put me on prenatal like usual and he added iron which of course doesnt help and extra calcium and that helps. I was taking the iron every day the bowls were getting bad so I backed off of them and I only take them every couple of days. But the calcium help the digestive. what I found helps are Fiber One bars as well. I would really get the dr approval on the flaxseed additive because some studies show its safe and some show its not safe so just confirm with the dr
How about eating prunes and my doc says oj with lots of pulp is good too. Add flax to things too. I add it to my cereals and yogurt. Be sure to drink tons of water. Since I've added the above items to my diet my constipation has subsided. Oh....limit your cheese and bananas as these are very constipating. Hope this helps.
