LABOR story :O

1st time mom | 18 | HNL, Hawaii | :) On Dec.23rd at 3:30am, I woke up because I started having contractions & they were too uncomfortable for me to fall back asleep. That's when I got excited because I knew it was prelabor! So until 7am they were inconsistent and the same in pain level. But after 7, they spread out more and were less painful. That's when I got bummed out because I really wanted to just go into active labor! Btw, I wanted babys gender to be a surprise so I wasn't sure what baby was atm. Anyway, the day went by & that night at 9pm they started to regulate and get stronger. Now I knew that it was game time. At 10:30pm they were 5 mins apart and I went into active labor. I left for the hospital at 12:30am and they admitted me. I was 4cm. My plan was always to have a COMPLETELY natural birth. As the hours passed, the contractions became SO INTENSE. By the time I hit 8cm, I was so out of it and in so much pain but I knew I had to keep going. It was seriously the worst pain EVER and I was yelling so loudly lol! But I did it and at 8:03am on Christmas Eve, I gave birth to my beautiful little girl Aria. 7lb. 4oz. & 19in. long. She is the best Christmas gift I got and I'm so glad to say that I did it without any drugs or pitocin at all, before and after. It was the worst pain ever & I got a 2nd degree tear but it was all completely worth it and I wouldn't trade her for the world! ♡

Oh and my water didn't break until I was 10cm and only after I pushed with 3 contractions! I was pushing for 33 minutes total. I also threw up the cranberry juice I drank while in labor and peed on the bed because my contractions were too strong and I didn't get up to use the bathroom in time! :/ just some details I forgot to mention.
