Still feel sick at 23 weeks?!

I have had a rough day today of feeling sick. I know it's probably just due to the obvious... 'hormones' & 'because I'm pregnant', but my 23rd week starts tomorrow and i really thought these days would be behind me by now. I'm tired of feeling sea sick. I feel like in my first trimester people kept telling me I'd feel better after week 14. 6 weeks later and I still have whole days where I feel really sick. (Although granted I'm feeling better than those early weeks).

Should I be worried?  I know it's probably just common for bad days to come and go throughout the pregnancy but I'm hoping you guys can reassure me that feeling sick doesn't mean I should panic about babys health. I'm probs just anxious coz I have a long shift tomorrow and am travelling abroad in three days and I thought I'd feel great by now.

Wow! That is awesome.  I bet they are excited to have a girl after all of that time! I am feeling a little bit better this week - a bit less sick and a bit more normal in my food fancies.  Long may it continue!! :-)

I think if i would have given birth under different circumstances the sickness probably would have left right away. I had an emergency c section at 35weeks and after my surgery i was on an automatic morphine drip for 24hrs and morphine made me so so sick. But once i was off that i felt great. No more sick feeling at all. My aunt and sister had morning sickness till they gave birth and they felt great right afterwards. So hopefully you will too!! :) or maybe the sickness will subside in a couple weeks. Fingers crossed!!!
Thank you!! :) i just knew this baby was a girl. I know all pregnancies are different but this one has been a breeze compared to my sons. Lol. I was surprised though cuz my husbands side of the family doesn't produce girls. We are the first ones to produce a girl in 6generations. We broke the curse!!

Thanks for your reply. And does the sickness literally leave you as you give birth? I can't imagine looking after a baby and feeling this sick! I have no idea whether the hormones leave you as the baby does as there's no more baby in there to grow and nurture or if the hormones kinda stick around a bit?? Ps. Congratulations on being pregnant again. A boy and a girl! How lovely :-) glad you feel better this time round. That gives ms hope :-) x

With my first pregnancy i was sick all the way till the end. I never puked but i was queezy 24/7 from 6weeks till i gave birth to my son at 35weeks. It never let up. Your baby is fine!!! :) some women never have sickness some only for a short time and some are sick through the whole pregnancy.
Im now 22weeks with my daughter and i haven't felt sick through this pregnancy. Not once.
