Holiday blues

Am I the only one that wants to stay and bed and do NOTHING for the holidays? I'm 39 weeks + 1 day and I'm so miserably uncomfortable it's amazing how I'm still walking. I feel bad because my boyfriend wants me to do all this running from family to family's house (including my own) but I just have no energy or desire. Not to mention I'm 3 cm dilated and can have this baby at any time. We got into a fight about it last night and I want to just make sure I'm justified and don't feel like I'm ruining his Christmas too :(

I didn't have energy and being a single mom again I had to push thru every day just to even pee, I was due on the 29th and scheduled section on the 26 but on the 20 my water broke while laying in bed I had got to hospital at 3cm and 15 minutes later was @ 5....but anyway, yes it really is normal and walking even if it's just stairs repeatedly will definitely help you...Good luck hunny things will be fine

Honey don't feel bad. I was working up until 38 weeks I had my daughter on 12/11 she was due on 12\18. Feeling that way is normal I couldn't wait to give birth I was tired ,uncomfortable, I had a bad attitude and my daughter (4) was sad bc I couldn't play with her like I used to. He should understand but try to walk it out your not to far 3cm is good. Walk the baby out of you keep moving until u cant. Hope that helps
