am i alone?

My pre pregnancy weight was 115... Now at 37 weeks I weigh 174 pounds and have awful stretch marks. (Even though I used a little bit of everything). The weight doesn't really bother me but the stretch marks make me cry every time I see them... Did anyone else get just as unlucky?

I guess we can't all be lucky. I had a few small ones before I got pregnant but now I'm covered. I know I shouldn't be ashamed but I can't help it... I hope they fade over time. I used a bunch of different product's but it seemed like everyday new ones formed

Fortunately, stretch marks have a life of their own and fade over time.

Gained about 60 lbs during pregnancy and have a million stretch marks. I've used all the "best" products on the market since day one and nothing helps. Some of us are just unlucky I guess :/

I'm 37 wks I was 120 pre-pregnancy now I am 162 so i've gained 42 lbs. I dont have a single stretch Mark though. I use coco butter & I'm also 5'8 so I'm pretty tall I think thats another reason why I didnt get any. I have kept my skin super moisturized bc I heard day skin and scratching your belly gives u stretch marks. which who knows if thats true but I avoided it anyway lol

I am 37 weeks and don't have any stretch marks (knock on wood) but I also got a lot from my last pregnancy. I have only gained 20lbs this time, but gained 35 with my first born.

I was 120 lbs and now I am 152 lbs.  And I'm 39 weeks pregnant. Also with plenty of stretch marks, I bought this lotion called Grossess 9 Mois at Buy Buy Baby and I also use Johnson's Baby Oil which have been helping alot.  I mean I don't think anything will completely wash them off but it helps a lot.

My doctor said usually if your genetics go through stretch marks then odds are you will as well!

I've gained about 40 pounds this whole pregnancy and barely have any, the ones I do have u can't even really see. But I started off at 180 kinda already a big girl so my stomach didn't have to do much stretching, for other mom's who are tiny the skin has to stretch a lot more

I've gained 60 pounds with my pregnancy, went from 120 to almost 180 now. Thankfully I have zero stretch marks though. I've been using CVS brand cocoa butter lotion and take showers every other day. It worked for my sister and works for me.
