When can I get my first ultrasound?

I will be 6 weeks tomorrow and have my first doctors appointment today. Is there any chance I will have an ultrasound? This is my first child and a heartbeat would be amazing to hear to make this all feel more real!!

My doctor won't do an ultrasound until I'm 12 weeks and maybe it depends also on insurance?? June 14th can't come soon enough!!! Lol

Hey ladies I had my first doctor's appointment yesterday on first unfortunately I have a cervical polyp and that's what's causing my spotting the doctor sent me for ultrasound and baby is doing fine with a strong heartbeat I'm measuring 6 weeks and 5 days

I feel the same way I have a doctor's appointment on Friday to confirm pregnancy according to my period I'm 6 weeks but I would really love to have an  ultrasound to hear my baby's heartbeat

I think it depends on your doctor. Mine did an ultrasound at 5 weeks because I had some bleeding, but most doctors wait until 7 weeks or later I have heard.

I hope you are able to get an ultrasound and hear a heartbeat!
