Oh yes, I can so relate. If they're in the house they're eaten!
So my cupboards are full of fruits and veges only.... no chocolate, candy or COOKIES (I'm a cookie monster lately).
If I really want a cookie I'll go out a buy just one from a coffee shop. At least it helps keep it under control.
I've had the same problem. I know for a fact that mine is due in part to a little depression. Little Debbie has been so supportive...really she has. :-)
I'm going to try to lay off the sugar (and use Splenda in my sweet tea!) as much as possible. I think the thing that helps me most is NOT buying sweets. If they're in my house, I'll eat them. I haven't bought any Debbie cakes this week, and I actually feel better about myself. Each day I cut back is a day that I actually feel better.
Splurge on a Frosty from Wendy's or ONE candy bar instead of buying a pack of cookies or other sweets. When they're not available in large quantities...you can't eat them. :-)
Thanks for the advise ladies. I am gonna try all of them, the fuits, protein, and the putting and 100 calories snack. I think a major part of my craving is due to my depression..
I've actually been the opposite..I haven't had an appetite at all since my little guy was born. I've lost so much weight! BUT when I was pregnant, my last month I couldn't get enough sweets (and I've never been that way...I eat so healthy) and what worked for me was buying those sugar free puddings...they come in all sorts of fun flavors (boston creme pie, chocolate banana etc) and they taste so sweet because they have splenda in them. They also have fudge bars that are similar. Also, they make those 100 calorie snacks for twinkies, creme cakes, oreos..everything! You can pretty much buy anything in 100 calorie packs these days..those worked wonders for me cuz it kept my moderation in tact! And I didnt want to eat too much splenda when I was pregnant so I only had the pudding every so often..but the 100 cal snacks are great!
Me too!
Don't beat it with sugar, beat it by eating more proteins at your meals. I found I was having major sugar cravings (cookies here I come!). Now I'm eating eggs at breakfast, and protein at lunch and dinner and the cravings are becoming more manageable.

Go for fruit that you don't eat often.. (that way it feels more like a treat)
Like - pineapple, rockmelon, grapes or nectarines.
