Wow!! That's awesome. How fun that he's showing interest in what you have.

My little one decided he was ready to drink from my water glass a few minutes ago...and he drank and drank and drank! :)

Annabelle does the same thing. She watches everything I eat and drink but has no interest in actually putting it in her mouth. She does like to touch my glass but doesn't want it near her face. She still pushes away her spoon some days when we do tastings, so who knows when she'll decide she wants something other than milk.

Seattleview that's awesome!  Ellie loves drinking sips of my water she also likes to watch me eat but not always interested when offered. Though tonight she spent the better part of dinner licking a lettuce leaf lol!

Ellie loves thai food, sushi, tuna fish, beef, hotdogs, mango, avocado, potato, bread, pita, chicken and acorn squash :)

Interesting...last week I was eating lunch with my little one on my lap and had salad as part of my meal.  Since the little guy kept reaching for my forkfuls I decided to put a piece of undressed lettuce in front of him on the table where he could reach it.  But once within his reach, he was no longer interested.  In that same meal, he very closely and carefully watched me drink my water every time I took a sip, and reached out for the glass each time as well, so I decided to try and offer him a sip...he screamed and pushed the glass away.  Apparently he's more interested in "pretending" to want some of my food/drink at this point.  But it's kind of funny to learn there's actually a name for something I was doing just as a personal experiment. :)

that seems really interesting.  So when they talk about brocolli and that do you give it to them cooked or uncooked (Silly question but I didn't quite understand it)
