I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow and I've tried all kinds of positions from what people have told me but I've never heard of the pea trick! Do you lay down or on your side or something when you do it? I'd rather get this baby to turn and do natural than the c section they plan on scheduling for next week :/
I went through the version last week and it was too much pain for me to take, I also don't think there was enough room for him to move and low amniotic fluid.
The only thing that worked with my first was the external cephalic version where the ob/gyn turns the baby at the hospital. We had tried all of the exercises and the frozen peas and even the acupuncturist's stick by the pinky toe (can't remember what that was called.) The version was painful but I was more scared about having a c-section so totally worth it. I think we did that around 37 weeks and she stayed head down after that. Good luck!
spinning babies worked for me and they have other great tips to keep baby in that position. its still early. i think you'll have plenty of time if you stick to the exercises!
Thanks, I'll look that up. I've been doing frozen peas, and a few stretches. He's been in this position (butt down, feet in his face) for months. He's very comfortable :)
What worked for me was frozen peas near my baby's head... My doctor recommended it! Good luck
You can Google spinning babies.
I've read sometimes baby's are in a certain position for a medical reason (like short umbilical cord) but others they just haven't turned. I heard many women day the spinning babies tricks helped. Good luck !
