I'm 33 weeks and I've had this a few weeks ago! My belly never really got hard but it felt really tight and tired like period cramps feel like sometimes and it would come and go but it was really irregular! I drank alot of water and just layed on my left side and they went away after a while. You could be having braxton hicks contractions! But I would drink water and lay on your left side and time them if possible! Also time them and if they get stronger with time and don't go away and get 5 to 10 minutes apart call your doctor and go to l&d because they could be real contractions but just try to relax and drink lots of water because they could just be braxton hicks!:)

If your cramping and your whole stomach is getting tight, drink water. See if that helps. Wait like 20 minutes after you drink the water to see if it helped. If it didn't help, give your obgyn a call. You should be experiencing braxton Hicks contractions but they shouldn't hurt.
