not viable???....

So i had a scan today (going by my dates im about 8wks) but the dr took ages to find the sac as he said i was holding a lot of gas around the stomach area. Then when he did he said the sac was empty and looked way smaller than it should for week 8. So he said its either 2 things....ive lost the baby and hav yet to pass it or im wayyyy earlier than my dates would suggest. So ive to go back in 2 weeks to get another scan to see. Im so disappointed ;( ;( ;( ;( anyone ever hear of anything lik this before????

Same thing happen to me in March. My doctor didnt see anything in my sac. She made me get test down three times to check my hcg every 48 hrs to see if i was still pregnant  (levels increase) or i had misscarried (levels decreased ) in my case they decreased. She offered a d&c but i told her I wanted to go on my own so she let me. Hopefully things are okay with your baby i know people who saw nothing and then went back later and they did. Just didnt happen in my case.

Just hang in there maybe he truly couldn't see the baby and u r early. Think positive and wait till they can confirm. Doctors are not always right. I hope everything goes well. Take care

I had an ultrasound a week ago. They couldn't see anything. I came back the following week and they found the baby! I had a full bladder this second time. The first time they told me to empty my bladder. **
