February due date, January arrival

Hey all, pleased so announce that I gave birth to my twins on the 17th of January. I went into the hospital on the 16th for a scheduled induction but things kind of took a turn and I ended up having an emergency section. Safe to say it wasn't an easy or pleasant experience for me. I felt every pain from being induced to having the very worst and most intense contractions, getting an epidural and then being put to sleep for the section. The pain I've felt this week is more than I've ever felt in my entire life put together but all I can say is Thank God because I'm alive and healing day by day but mostly my two very precious babies are doing exceptional well. They are so adorable, I didn't think I could love another child this much after my first but I really do. It's an incredible feeling. To all my othere February mum's to be, I wish you the very best when the time comes to welcome your little ones into the world. I pray God makes it easy for you all. It's been great having you all to chat with and share experiences the past 9months. Thank so much. Lots of love from Nitabells xxxxxx

Congrats Nitabells!! How much did your babies end up weighing and at how many weeks were they born?
My little girls was suppose to be born on the 17th too at 37weeks, but upon seeing my dr on the 16th she moved my date up another week making me wait till 38weeks. Twin pregnancy is definitely not an easy thing to go through. All though I love my girls so much, I just want this pregnancy over with. I'm miserable and in constant pain, and running around everyday after my nearly 2 year old daughter. My tummy is bursting at the seams, hopefully Monday the dr will say they are ready to come out!!

Hey hun, my boy was 2.3kg and girl was 2.2kg. They were both healtho cept with having low blood sugar at birth so they had to monitor their feeding. I was scheduled for 37weeks which was on Saturday the 14th but they told me to come in on Monday 16th as they didn't want to induce high risk pregnancy during the weekend. And I ended up having them on Tuesday 17th just before 8pm. So by then I was 37weeks n 3days. I can imagine how you feel. I felt I was over pregnant after a while too lol. I'm just glad it's all over and I have my babies at home now. Good luck with yours too hun.
