Updates on our babies!!

Hi ladies :-)

I'm not sure how many of you actually still visit this forum, but I thought I'd post a message because I've been wondering how you and your babies are all doing!

Gil is 10 weeks now and he's doing great!  He's a very smiley, happy, easy baby.  My first son, now 3.5 years old, was pretty good, too...but Gil is even easier.  Or maybe it's just that now I feel more confident, like I know what I'm doing ;-)

Napping is going great - Gil's usually down for 2 fairly regular naps....if anything, he's so used to sleeping in his own bed that we're finding that we're already having to adjust our routine to accommodate him because he's in a MUCH better mood when we do!  He's sleeping for a good 7-8 hours at night (hooray!)

Hope some of you will respond when you can!!

Jen

Babies still often need to wake up during the night until they're about 5 months old - then there's no real nutritional requirement.  My son - born January 27, 2010 - often sleeps through the night, but occasionally gets up for a snack in the middle of the night.  I still feed him when he does get up because I figure he still needs it......but I know that he can go 9 to even 11 hours without eating.  Don't worry about it:  all babies figure it out, eventually!  Some just need a bit more help than others ;-)

Hello all, it  has been a while since i checked this forum. My son is also 3 months old and he is a calm baby. he takes very short naps during the day and goes to bed around 7:30. he sleeps until 1:00 am but then he wakes up every 2-3 hours. I just assume he gets hungry and give him milk, however a couple of my friends who have had babies told me not to give him milk every time he wakes up. I am just waiting until he is on solid food, before I try to train him to sleep longer hours during the night. I came back to work about 2 weeks ago, but am thinikng about getting a month off in June.

My son Ryder is 3 months 1 week 3 days. He is a really good baby - very happy and smiley. He cries when he is hungry and gets fussy when he is tired. Otherwise, he is laid back. We have a good night routine - Ryder goes to bed without fussing btn 8 and 8:30. He does not like naps, though, and fights them all day long. I'm lucky if he stays asleep for more than 20 minutes during a daytime nap. Ryder is a big baby - almost 17 lbs. and very strong. I'm going back to work on Monday and I am dreading it - I love being able to spend so much time with him.

Garret is doing great getting so big! He was 4 months Thursday (we ended up having him the 31st of december)  He sleep throughout the night usually goes goes to bed at like 10 ish.  He fights sleep during the day but usually just rubs his eyes alot.  He isn't to cranky only really cries for a bottle but goes from 0 to 10 in a second doesn't even give you a chance to get it!

I love being a mommy so much.

That's good.My son Zachary is going to be 3 months. He is okay. He took 2 naps during the day and sleep about 5 - 6 hours at night.

He has his day.. One day he so good and other days he cranky. But no complain about it.
