Update, had my first /s yesterday!!

Yesterday I had my first u/s at 8w1d, They started doing a regular one and since i hadnt peed in over an hour they got a really good picture but decided to do a vaginal so they could see everything clearer and take measurments. Everything was FINE! After all that worrying and nervousness. I'm measuring at 8w4d, heart beat was 161 and they actually caught the baby moving a little bit! it was so amazing, i burst into tears of relief haha so a big sigh a of relief here WHEW. Thank you everyone for they're reassurance and support i appreciate it so much!

I'm not sure when my next u/s will be as my insurance information and yet to come in the mail, which i found out i have to have to even make an appt. I got this u/s from a free clinic where i found out i was pregnant. So I keep calling them so see if they will give me the insurance number i need over the phone so i dont have to wait to receive it in the mail. And yes my husband want to find out the sex of the baby, were both hoping for a girl as we already  have my 18 month old step son and thought it'd be nice for him to have a younger sister. I've always wanted a little girl, i'm one of 10 half siblings and i'm the oldest and only girl! Of course we will love him/her no matter what, were just happy that I'm pregnant and everything is looking good so far!

Wonderful news!!!  It's such a relief to see everything in order and to see your little miracle.  When do you get your next u/s?  Will you find out the sex later on??
