8 weeks and 2days pregnant and worried

Hi ladies, Well iam 8 weeks and 2 days pregnant and I am worried. I dont feel pregnant my symptoms were increased urination, tired, sore (really sore) boobs, emotional reck, hunger etc but it seems like these symptoms are slowly fading is this normal? I do still wee alot and feel tired, my boobs are sore but not as sore. I was having real bad hunger pains last week but that stopped over night. I just keep thinking our baby has died. I no it sounds awaful but I cant help thinking the worse.
I saw my GP two weeks on tuesday coming and they made a referral to the midwives there and then but I have heard nothing. I tried to ring the midwife on friday ,noone was there so left a message and still noone has been in touch. I dont no if i should see my GP tomorrow and tell him my concerns or wait untill the midwife gets in touch. I dont want to make a fuss.
I also get period like pain --- Not cramping (had that a few weeks ago with a tiny amount of red blood, which my dr said with the amount was not concerned but if it continues he will referrer me to early preg unit--- but had none since.) SO its not a cramping feeling more like that dull period pain you get before your period starts. Has anyone else had this feeling?
I no there is a lot of info here i am just very worried and it our first baby so  i am unsure of everything.

oh wow well im 8 weeks 3 days and im still waiting for my midwife to get in touch ---- think i might ring them again.

I'm turning 8 weeks tomorrow :) I have a midwife appointment this morning. Looking forward to it!

lol yer think your mother is right. As my mum says you will worry till the day you die.

I'm a nervous wreck too. I don't have that many symptoms either. The ones I do have come and go. My Mother told me it's just preparing me for the unending worry of motherhood. Fantastic! Ha!

Hi thank you for your reply, its so nice to have feeback from others in the same situation as yourself.
I just cant believe how much you worry and for us our baby was a complete shock as we were not trying for a baby but since we have found out we have just worried over silly things but i also dont want to be at my drs every week lol so its nice to be able to get feedback from you guys

I know how scary everything seems with a first baby.  This is my first pregnancy too and I'm a nervous wreck.

I don't think it hurts to let your dr know what's going on.  Maybe it will give you some peace of mind to talk it out with them and maybe they can give you a scan or look for the heartbeat for some peace of mind?

Personally, I haven't had any pg symptoms so far other then fatigue and since I got to hear my baby's HB Friday I know things are still fine.  So no symptoms don't necesary mean that something is wrong.  Good luck and try to hang in there!!
