back to school

I'm 17 years old. 16 weeks 1 day and this is going to be my senior year (high school) . And well the start the year is coming is anyone else in my situation or had to deal with this. How do you deal with the stress and expectations? Where do you buy cute maternity clothes? I'm also planning on being homeschooled after the baby is born if it's just to much to handle. Please help I'm not sure if I can even do it. Like what if I'm hungry do I just pull out my baby carrots from my bag and start eating? Or what if I really need a nap? I do have trusted teachers/ coaches I can go and talk to them about this but I just want a normal last year of high school.

With my first I was 16 and in my junior year, it's tough but you can do it. I have actually found some cute affordable maternity tops at Walmart.com, the stores don't carry maternity anymore. Talk to your teachers one on one and explain the situation, all my teachers were very understanding, if I needed a snack I could have one bc I couldn't make it until lunch I would get light headed.

Just keep your head up high and embrace your pregnancy. I'm sure if you go to the guidance council office they would help you more than you can imagine. I remember grade 9 & the girl behind me was 5 months pregnant. She was able to step out of class with out being question whenever she felt nausea kicking in. No one will question you pulling out your carrots. If anything theyll be offering you food :p

Good luck !! You'll be great !

You can get cute maternity clothes for decent prices at motherhood maternity  - look on the clearance rack at the store Destination Maternity.  Google where these stores are around where you live then go or you can try to order them online.  I am 16 weeks exactly tomorrow so we are only two days apart!  But the difference is I am 35.  If you need a nap, I would go to the school nurse whenever you need a break and explain the situation to her.  Having a carb and a protein help satisfy you longer like crackers with peanut butter, or an egg and toast.  They recommended nuts like in a trail mix also to me - you can mix nuts with pretzel stix.  Even though I am older than you, I got home schooled for a short time in high school too and it was hard but you learn to adapt and you work through it.  Your last year of high school will not be normal if you are homeschooled.  It is isolated from the other kids and you all have to make extra efforts to stay in touch.  But at least you will be able to probably go to school for at least the first half of the year so try to make it as fun and as normal as possible and just think of it as your last hurrah with your high school friends the first half of the year before you go into labor - think of it this way - you won't see these people anymore more than likely after you guys all graduate anyway.  I hardly keep in touch with my old high school friends.  Most of my friends now are from common interests like other hobbies I've taken up after school and college - trust me you will be ok.

I Would Talk To Your Teachers And See What They Can Do To Help You If You Ever Need Anything And See If You Can Eat If You Are Hungry In Their Classes. I Don't Know Much Else But That's What Girls Did At My School That I Knew That Had Babies Or Were Pregnant Our Senior Year
