C Section

Getting excited to meet my little man. Next Monday is the big day. Also nervous, first time with birth and C section. Any suggestions when having a c section?

Did you bring a belly binder or did the hospital have one for you? If you purchased it, where from?

I just had my first 10 hours ago. It was better than I expected. I'm staying on top of pain meds. Taking it easy but also trying to do things on my own (standing when it was time as opposed to them helping me). I took the belly binder as well and that a helped.

Congratulations and good luck with your little boy. I ended up having a c-section with my first almost 4 years ago. It really wasn't as bad as I anticipated. I will say don't lift anything heavier than your baby, don't take a hot shower until your staples are removed. I made that mistake the morning after my section and the hot water made the staples hot straight through the inside if my skin:-( let people help out, at the end of the day it is a major abdominal surgery you're having. I'm scheduled for a repeat section and having my tubes tied this Friday the 9th at 7:30am. Again good luck with your new baby:-)
