Contractions?

Has any one felt contractions, only when their laying down or trying to sleep?? Thy are so painfull n about 10 minutes apart but when I get up in the middle of the night thinking I'm about to go into labor,  thy just stop :(. I'm a ftm n pass my due date. 40wk 3dy. I also lost my mucus plug today. Should I call my doc or just deal with it until my baby wants to show up?

Ya I would say it's just pre labor...just your bodies way of getting ready to start actual labor. They say if they stop when u change positions than its false labor, and if they get stronger and closer than its real labor

This happened to me last night! I had painful contractions all night but they went away this morning. This is my 3rd baby though. I text my midwife and she said to take a bath and relax. You could call your Dr just to see what she says.
