Is anyone updating friends and family via social media?  If so,  what are you using?

We've done a Facebook video and a few Periscope updates.   We're thinking about video blogging the birth.

Any thoughts?

My suggestion is before you do anything, see how your labor is going and both of you are feeling. You may have a change of heart about posting. We did a few mass text messages to keep people posted. I was in almost 40 hours of horrible labor, and wouldn't want anyone to see me go through all that pain.

My mom asked me to make a tumblr so she could go back and look at the pics/videos whenever she wanted. It works for both of us because its quick and easy for me to upload  its and convenient for my mother.
