Might be a February Baby!

Hey ladies. It's my due date today and at the doc appointment she said baby it still up high (second baby) I'm still 2cm dilated 70% effaced! Little contractions here and there nothing major :/ She wouldn't do a membrane sweep because she doesn't want to risk infection but she tried widening my cervix to give it a push.
Since she did that I did spot a good amount.
We set up an induction date for next Monday which is February.01.2016 so there is a chance that he might be a February baby. I hope I go into labor naturally though cause I don't want to have too many interventions. Wish me luck!

By the way I have been inserting 2000mg of evening primrose oil at night for the past week. I've also been drinking rich cinnamon sticks tea and I've been doing prenatal Pilates to help induce labor but nothing has been happening.

On Monday baby's heart beat was 120, his movement wasn't so much, and the amniotic fluid was at 8" so doc had me do a non stress test (which he passed thank god) then today (Wednesday) she had me do another another non stress test just incase and his heart was up to 130's and the fluid was at 11". Doc still wants me to do one more non stress test sometime before Monday just incase.

Am 41w today
Been having really bad backache since sunday evening
can go on for hours and give me a 30min break
my next visit to the gynae ia on Thursday. .hopefully he will tell me the baby has engaged and I am more than 1cm dilated
am exhausted

I'm being induced on Monday and I'm so nervous! Good luck on your delivery mommy! At least I know I'm not the only one :)

My edd was the 26th; went to the gynae yesterday and baby is in position but still high up! And I am jusy 1cm dilated and he said my cervix is still thick. .he said 'il see you in a week' so he is probably gping to be another February baby.. all the best hey :)

Thank you girl! Yeah I guess now that mom is in town 've gotten so anxious for him to come already hehe!

I definitely see the pattern you're talking about and I agree I think some of us will be seeing our little ones in February :)

You wanted him to wait a bit and he certainly has! At least you know that he will be here in less than a week, how exciting! It seemed like we were having a lot of our babies born all at once and then hit a lull, so if you go to early Feb., I suspect you won't be the only one.

You were hoping he would hold out until your mother came into town, right? I'm guessing she made it by now? I wish you the very best of luck!
