Diapers and wipes!

I thought it would be fun to see what everyone's favorites are! I love and swear by pamper's diapers for Jeremy and huggies wipes either sensitive or softskin wipes! I have used all the other ones and the only diaper that doesn't fall apart by the am is Pamper's! I can't wait to see what everyone else uses!

Hugs,
AP
This time next yr we will all begin potty training can you believe it!

yeah, i noticed that too, after I posted my excited comment, lol.  i did find some on ebay that would ship for much cheaper, but i still wouldn't know if that would make it a better deal for you or not.  i'm glad you've found something that's helping!

Thanks for that link. I had a look but it would be way too much with shipping, shipping alone costs more than the diapers :-( I've got her on Organic diapers during the day (I tried a few different brands) and it has made a difference. No more rash around the hips. But the site is great, will have a look around when I have some more time :-)

I can get Huggies here but only on ebay but they are incredibly expensive, almost double that of Pampers. So definately puts me off buying them :-(

zaz, can you order them and have them delivered or would that make it too expensive?

I tried huggies in Australia and they were better than pampers in particular the fit I must agree with youguys, Medina didn't react to them as wel (no rash around waist, hip). Pity we don't have them here in Germany.

LOL, it ate my wholesale club.  it's beejays.  haha!

LBB, aren't you just amazed at how awful the new pampers are??  we were flabbergasted.  plus, babies need the padding when they're learning to stand and walk and these had basically none.  the stunned look on her face when she fell the first time (and subsequent) was enough to make me want to burn them!

yeah, the fit on huggies blew me away.  and because of how they fit, she can wear them longer.  with pampers, she grew out of them well before the weight limit---with huggies, she can wear them all the way up to the weight limit.

pampers fit looks uncomfortable imo.  like a cinched rope around her waist.  the huggies really do hug her hips and waist and move with her instead of cutting into her.

You know I was a Pampers mom all the way when Cash was smaller.  He was wearing Swaddlers and they worked wonderfully!  We then went to Cruisers and they worked great as well!  Then they changed to DryMax and they just don't work as well, so we went to Huggies and they fit soooo well and they don't swell up when they are wet as much as Pampers do.  I do still buy Pampers though bc I buy whatever I can get on sale Pampers or Huggies - generics don't work and break Cash out!

We tried the new "thinnest driest" pampers... and i'm sorry to say, they SUCK.  She gets a rash from being wet in them.  They are never dry.

Huggies have worked the best for us.  The snug'n'dry (their "cheap" ones) work better than the most expensive pampers as far as dryness.  and they fit her better too because of the panel shape and how much it stretches.  i've tried most of the generics but have been really unsatisfied with them.  so we always end up back at huggies.  but as a newborn, we LOVED the pampers swaddlers (and found some size 4s at babiesrus and got them, still loved them!).

but with prices on diapers eating all us mommies alive, we went back to huggies snugndry because we can get them for much less at **'s Wholesale.

Pampers suck on Lochlyn. He pees through them so quickly in the night. Huggies by far fit his body type the best. Also pampers has more protection in the back and Lochy is a tummy sleeper (always has been) and Huggies has more protection up front. I also use Huggies wipes, I find they clean up his sticky poop better/ with less then pampers or value brands.

I don't think my vote will help out much bc we do cloth diapers and cloth wipes, but when we travel we use Huggies they seem to do the job well.
We use rumparooz, g diapers,  grwo via and fuzzy bunz. They are so cute and I have become a cloth diaper junkie. LOL

Thanks ladies ! I was just curious if you guys had favorites I had tried Jeremy on everything else after using pampers and nothing compares in my eyes!  I swear by them! But I love the thickness and the scents of the huggies wipes and the big bags are usually on sale at cvs for 5.99 so it's a good deal your getting 184 wipes per bag!  Not a bad deal!

I have to make a comment on the diapers because since about six weeks we have been alternating between Pampers (nights) and eco-friendly diapers. Medina developed a rash around her hips and waist where the diapers sit so we went off Pampers onto eco-friendly ones and her rash went away! So we use Pampers over night and eco-friendly diapers during the day. I chose Pampers because we have been using them during most of her 1st year.

OOps!  I voted for Pampers and meant to vote for Huggies!  We use Pampers and Huggies diapers but mostly Pampers.  And we use Huggies wipes.  However, my mom just found some Luv's wipes for $1 a tub at Fred's Pharmacy bc they are discontinueing them.  So be on the lookout ladies that's a steal!  I've never used them before, but I got some storebrand wipes as gifts at soem of my showers and I used them on Cash with no problems, so I'm assuming the Luvs will be fine for him too.  One thing I have noticed though is it seems the "cheaper" the wipes the quicker they dry out.  But maybe it's just me.  Huggies never dry out, but I had some from Publix as a gift and they started drying out on Day 1.
