How big are your babies?

I'm 31w1d today and my baby measured 4lb9oz. Have any of you had an u/s recently to show the size?

Had another ultrasound today @ 36 weeks 3 days...my Pooh is 5lb 6 ounces. The doc said she is on the small side but healthy. No more ultra sounds for me:-)

I had an ultrasound yesterday at 37wks 5 days and i was told Jeyden weighs 6lbs 14oz.

Had an ultrasound today at 34w4d and bub is measuring 6lbs 2oz.

Doc also agreed to book me in for an induction on the 15th July! I can't wait to meet this baby...

Had another us - 34w3days she is 5lbs 4oz... with even more hair than last time.. she was sucking on her four fingers and cicking the us wand.... still 2 cm dialated... getting very anxious!

I had my u/s las Friday...at 34w3d my guy weighed 6lb7oz so he is on the large side. It would be great to have him a few weeks early. My biggest baby was 9lb2oz so I may  be looking at another 9lb baby :)

I went for my u/s  I am 33 weeks and baby is 4lbs 7oz !!! The tech saw a lil bit of hair on the back of his head........She couldn't get any good shots of him tho.

I haven't had an ultrasound since my early 30 wks. I will be 37 wks on friday and my dr just measures my belly and tells me he is measuring perfectly. But never tells me how much he thinks he weighs or anything.

At 32 weeks 3 days, my baby was weighing 3lb 16 ounces. The dr. said she was a little underweignt.

Yay!! Glad to hear the good news, so happy for you!! I know they thought my friends baby & my cousin babies were going to be a whopping 9lbs BUT they both ended up having 7lb babies....he might be big when hes born, but sometimes they're wrong!

Thanks for the well wishes ladies...the results are in!!! No growth delay :) he's actually running a bit big. 33wks (and some change) and he's "well over" 5 lbs apparently. and he's predicted to be about 18inches currently...no gestational diabetes, but all of my mom's brothers were 10-11lbs babies so I knew he would probably be a big 'un. They're predicting him to easily top 8lbs, and told me to expect closer to 9. I tore bad enough with 7lbs 6oz for my daughter, so this one will be a bit of a nail-biter, lol.

Anyway i'm gonna post my 3/4D pic of him sometime tomorrow, but the good news is that the beta-blocker did NOT cause a growth delay so I have no reason not to be able to "pop" on my own :).

how do you get the doctor to do an u/s to tell the weight? my doctor has not done that, well I never had it with my other two as well!!! I wonder if I ask if they will do it

I can't wait either...I get an ultrasound on thursday with my MFM doctor to measure growth. Hopefully he's still packing on the pounds and moving right along or I may be induced at 36 weeks. I take a beta-blocker that can cause IUGR and so far it hasn't been a problem, but they said the real test will come after 30wks and this is my first ultrasound since like 26wks so I'm really anxious. I want him to stay in as long as he wants to stay in, so I'm hoping he's growing fine and there's no IUGR. so everyone wish me luck that they find a nice big baby on thursday, lol.

~~My doc said that they don't usually do another ultrasound until after 32 weeks bc before that you cant see if the baby is moving along developmentally as he/she should (IDK - thats what I was told)

5'4" isn't short, LOL, i'm 5'2....but what they do is measure the legs and average it out, I believe...so it's obviously just an estimate, but no they can't tell you EXACTLY they can just tell you "if his/her leg is so many inches, a proportional baby would be *so many* inches long". :)

How are you all getting lengths on your little ones?? I asked my tech and she said there i sno way to measure as they are bent and you can't get an accurate length. I know my little guy must be long cuz his butt was up against my ribs and he had his toes in his mouth and he is already engaged as they put it. It would be nice to know a length:) All 4 of my other ones were short:) Like me! I am 5'4"

I had my baby on May 14th at 32 weeks and he was 17 1/2 inches long and weighed 4 lbs 6.5 oz. I had an ultrasound that Monday before, on May 10, and they had estimated him at 3 lbs 14 oz!!

I just had my u/s yesterday (I'm high risk due to diabetes) and baby was 4lbs 8 oz at 31w5d. The tech said they will estimate her weight at full term to be about 8.5-9 lbs which is about the birth size of my older kids (one born at 40w and the other at 38w).

I have red hair and DH has black hair. I had one DD with red at birth (she is now blonde) and the other had black (she is also the same blonde color now). Im really hoping for a red headed baby girl this time but Im not sure if I'll get it. Baby had lots of hair on the u/s pics too but Im not sure if black is more dominate than red? hmmm

My first one had platinum blonde hair and second she had jet black that changed to my brownish blonde and then my third had sandy blonde like I did at birth, then the forth had browinsh black hair. Both their dad and myself had brown hair, I have red blonde and black tints in mine though. My DH now has black hair with brown eyes and I have green. I am hoping dark curly hair with brown eyes:) I don't know which is more dominent brown or green. Two of my others have green and one has blue. I will try to post the new pictures on here later. Too cool to see the hair on us now!
