Light bleeding and diagnosed with placenta previa

Hi guys!  Just wanted to see if anyone else has this.....I had light brown spotting and a bit of red blood Monday evening.  We rushed straight to emerg where they did a urine sample, bloodwork, and one of those crappy portable ultra sound machines.  Baby looked good so they book me in for an ultrasound Tues am to get a better look.  Thye said the placenta was a little low and that's likely what caused the bleeding.  No sex, nothing strenuous and bedrest for 2 days.  I have an appt with my high risk preg Dr Thurs morning at 10.  Anyone have this?

My 25 week ultrasound showed the placenta moved away from the cervix so I'm off pelvic rest :) but no more ultrasounds :( Hope everyone else has good luck with the placenta movement! :)

when I posted about my previous placenta previa I guess I jinked myself - got it again!! It's a small partial covering so they are going to check it in 6 weeks with ultrasound again- like I said in my previous post- extra ultrasounds :) I'm on "pelvic rest" until then = no sex, but nothing about bed rest. Oh well, at least I get another peek at my baby girl next month :) Just think, if it doesn't move out of the way we have a perfect excuse not to go through labor ;)

I'm 18 w/4 days pregnant with twins and was told on my 18 week scan that I have placenta previa. My dr. said not worry as it might move when the baby gets bigger. I think we should try not to stress too much about it. Let's wait in hope and prayer. I'm due for another scan on the 25th. Try to rest as much as possible. The beginning of third trimester might come with positive results. I'll pray for both of us, early labour/delivery is not in our plans for sure!!!!

My sister had it, but her placenta ended up migrating a little bit and she was able to deliver vaginally. Hopefully the same thing will happen for you :D

I had it with my daughter (6 yrs. ago). It moved out of the way and to the side by the 3rd trimester so I didn't need a C-section. The one nice thing is you get extra ultrasounds to check on where it is lying :)
